Ivanhoe: No talks with Mongolian government about changing Oyutolgoi agreement

A published report says Ivanhoe Mines, the Canadian company that owns a controlling interest in the massive Oyutolgoi copper and gold mines, has not held talks with the Mongolian government about changing its 2009 investment agreement.

“There have been no discussions between Ivanhoe Mines and the Mongolian government about potential changes to the Oyutolgoi investment agreement,” an Ivanhoe spokesman told Fox Business News. The statement was issued in response to reports on news.mn that a group of 20 MPs would like to make changes to the agreement.
