In July, Mongolia marked 21 years of independent rule. This is a nation entering a period of huge transformation, with its vast reserves of highly sought after natural resources, this stunning, sparsely populated landscape is set to enrich its citizens well into the future. Eye On Mongolia takes a close look at what effects this time of dramatic change will have upon Mongolia's economy, its culture and its 2.8 million people. CNN correspondent Stan Grant (pictured) reports from some of the world's biggest coal mines; from the Mongolian Stock Exchange, and he'll also be checking out the Mongolian rock music scene. Correspondent Anna Coren also reports from Mongolia’s capital, Ulan Bator.
